Foster Cat Who Loves Violin and Music Finds Forever Home

Some cats have a refined taste and a sophisticated style. They appreciate the finer things in life, such as classical music.

Esther Abrami is a classical violinist who helps to foster kittens from La Feline Meyreuillaise, a rescue group in Southern France. She offers to foster some kittens from the rescue group when they have extra cats than they can take care of.

A Music-Loving Cat

Esther loves cats, but her career does not allow her to have one of her own. She travels a lot and practices for hours. By fostering, she gets to spend time with kittens and prepare them for their forever homes.

One of her foster kittens showed a special interest in music and never missed a chance to listen to his foster mom play. He was always there for her rehearsals, even if they were just practice sessions. His name was Petit Rose, which means ‘Little Pink’ in French.

The Little Petit Rose

A Kitten with a Passion for Music Petit Rose is a cute orange tabby kitten with a pink nose and pink toe beans. He was only two months old when he came to Esther. He had been abandoned by his previous owners, who did not care for him or his siblings. La Feline rescued them and found foster homes for them.

Love for the Foster Mom and Music

Petit Rose was very affectionate and liked to nap with Esther. He also followed her everywhere, including the room where she practiced her violin.

This cutie was curious about the violin at first. But when he heard the beautiful sounds Esther made with it, he fell in love with it. He would sit on her lap and smile while she played.

Eventually, Petit Rose would climb onto the mom’s shoulder to relax while listening to the good sound of her violin.

When he was not on her lap or shoulder, Petit Rose also enjoyed sleeping in the violin case. He found it cozy and warm.

Time to Say Goodbye!

Petit Rose’s time with Esther, however, was not forever. He grew up into a healthy and handsome kitten, ready for his forever home. His new family loves him and plays recordings of Esther’s music for him. He still remembers his foster mom and her violin.

Petit Rose and Esther’s story shows us how cats can have a sense of music and culture.
